Sauleda follows a strict supplier selection process to ensure the highest quality standards for any application: domestic, decorative and industrial.
up to 10 years warranty
Sauleda implements a clear and well-defined strategy to protect its customers and consumers. We mark the edges of the fabric with an “S” to avoid offering imitation fabrics to consumers. The fabric is marked with an "S", which is a necessary requirement to enforce our warranty. We also register and protect all our designs to prevent them from being copied or reproduced. We offer maximum results:
- Color fastness.
- Resistance to sunlight and atmospheric agents.
- Maximum rot resistance.
- Dimensional stability.
- Maximum shear strength.
- Maximum resistance to environmental pollution.
- Air permeability and water tightness.
- Sauleda Guarantee.
Sauleda has tested the durability of its fabrics and we want to share our experience. After many years, checks and tests carried out in prestigious laboratories show that Sauleda fabrics last longer than the years stated in the warranty. That's why we offer you a guarantee of up to ten years under normal exposure to the sun and atmospheric factors.
Features of our fabrics
![]() Stain protection | Maximum resistance to environmental pollution. The SAULEDA FABRIC PROTECTIVE coating on our fabrics creates a barrier effect, strengthening the waterproofing and delaying the adhesion of dirt. Important note: Substances such as acid rain or bird droppings and abrasive washing of the fabric can damage the SAULEDA FABRIC PROTECTOR coating. |
![]() UV resistant | The insurmountable color resistance of the fabric to sunlight and atmospheric factors. Sauleda fabrics offer 90% sun protection and extreme UV resistance in most designs. In collaboration with Aitex and the testing association for applied protection of UV rays, Sauleda conducted a study to investigate the behavior of its designs after they have been subjected to UV radiation in its original form and after different treatments outside of conventional uses and aging. All fabrics passed these tests successfully. |
![]() Antibacterial | The fibers used to spin our yarns used for weaving the fabric have been subjected to a special antibacterial treatment reinforced with the Sauleda Fabric Protective finishing applied to the fabrics. It is always important to let the fabric dry completely before storing or wrapping it. |
![]() Climate | The properties of climatic fabrics allow the fabrics to breathe, that is, moisture and wind cannot penetrate into them. A climatic fabric has the following effects: It reduces heat perception by lowering the temperature under the fabric when the weather is hot and sunny, and increases the heat perception underneath the fabric when the weather is cooler. |
![]() Double-sided | The fabric is made of two excellent materials, resulting in a reversible technical fabric with two sides. Each case is made in our new factory with the highest quality raw materials. Due to the special weave, the back and front sides of the fabric are different in terms of finish and color. |
![]() dimensional stability | During the fabric manufacturing process, a finishing treatment is applied to guarantee excellent dimensional stability and the fabric is subjected to an extra tensile load to guarantee its dimensional stability. |
![]() easy maintenance | Low-maintenance awnings: just follow our five essential tips: |
![]() Flame delayer | M1 or M2 reaction to fire classification depending on the fabric. When the fabric is exposed to fire effects, it does not cause the material to break due to melting and prevents the spread of fire thanks to its flame retardant feature. |
![]() Waterproof | Awnings that are waterproof do not allow water or air to pass through the fabric. |
